I graduated from Tufts University with majors in English and drama. After a stint as an English teacher, I received a masters in counseling psychology from Boston College and became a high school adjustment counselor. I also worked as a college psychology professor. These endeavors make me very well qualified to serve as your officiant.

I can provide a standard ceremony with an introduction, exchange of vows, exchange of rings, and pronouncement. Or I can personalize your ceremony and suggest readings or prayers and add unique touches like a wine, rose, unity candle, sand or salt, and ring warming ceremony. I can write your children into your ceremony. I can help you to write your own vows.

I am comfortable with all kinds of wedding, be it a small ceremony in your home or a lavish event in a stately mansion! My most interesting weddings have been on a Charles River Gondola, in a Nantucket backyard, the Rainforest Cafe, the Boston Public Garden, and a rolling meadow with the cows as guests! I have even officiated at weddings on Christmas Day or New Year's Eve!
